It was late November. The year was 1999. Earlier that year we had conducted our first Gathering of the Eagles and had seen utterly fantastic results. The purpose for which we had met was to stop the devastating destruction foreseen by many prophetic people and civil authorities alike. The East Coast was already preparing for immediate evacuation by the time we held our first GOE. The intercession, by a few hundred people at most, spared the East Coast from what was already on its way. After the intercession the one state that was affected by hurricane Floyd was the only state that had not sent intercessors to the GOE to represent it. That state, North Carolina, was hit very hard, to the tune of billions of dollars’ worth of damage. Prayer made the difference. Prayer is the only thing that can turn God’s intent from a place of “Mighty Judge” to the position of protective Father over an area, when sin has provoked His justice. I might also mention that in that same year we saw many hurricanes. Most of them could have destroyed the East Coast had God not intervened.

Had I known then that N. Carolina would suffer such extreme damage for lack of participation, I would have personally gone and sought to lead people by the hand to Jacksonville, Florida to pray. Nothing but prayer and repentance can avert or diminish judgement. Joel 2 and 11 Chron. 7:14 attest to this unalterable truth.

Many of you would remember that in August of 2011, we took the GOE to the Northwest for the same purpose. We desired to avert a severe judgement over the whole West Coast. God gave us audience; thus, we prevailed, to His good pleasure. 

 
I could give many examples revealing this same reality but for lack of time and space I won’t. Suffice us to say that mercy reigned over judgement in each case.

Now, let me return to the beginning of this letter. In late November of 1999, I was awakened from a sound sleep by the Lord Himself. He had come to give me a warning. “America was going to be destroyed if I did not obey Him and answer the call!” The next 3 hours were full of promises, warnings and instruction. I was to come to learn the power of prayer according to Biblical proportions. If you have never had to stand in the gap for tremendous answers to prayer then you do not know how powerfully our Lord Jesus Christ can answer prayer. Further, you may not know that when He says He must do something He really does not want to do, He means it. Consequently, the call to prayer and our subsequent obedience can mean the difference between life and death as it again does at this very moment!

My dear and precious friends, intercession is more important now than ever. The closer we get to God’s intervention the more important prayer becomes. We are birthing. What mother stops pushing to watch the ballgame when her baby is crowning? No, she actually works harder until the baby is in her arms. We need you and we need you now and for as long as it takes to bring forth the fullness of the vision! I am truly sorry if it is inconvenient. But, I promise you this is as important as it gets.

As many of you know I have been in a tremendous battle. The enemy has visited me and literally told me that he will stop me regardless of what it takes. He says we will not win America. The Lord has visited me as well and assured me that if we will keep standing in the gap, we will assuredly win America. The battle is not over! We must stand together and not stop until we see victory in our hands. 

So, this is about victory. Do we still have enough people in America who will say, “I will stand for our Nation?” We need your intercession and we need your financial help. Further, we need your help in DC in August. AND we need you to come on line with us beginning:

如果我知道北卡羅萊納州將會遭受到如此巨大的損失，是因著沒有參與，我會親自去那兒，親手將人帶到弗羅里達州的傑克森禱告。沒有其他的事物，只有禱告和認罪可以避免或減少審判。約珥書第2章和歷代之下7:14證明了這個無法改變的事實。

你們有許多人記得2011年的8月，我們把鷹的聚集帶到西北岸，也是有著同樣的目的。我們期望整個美國西岸避免一個極嚴重的審判。神使我們進入祂的面前 ( 覲見 祂)，因此我們得勝，使祂喜悦。

我可以舉更多的例子證明相同的事實，但因為沒有足夠時間和空間，我就沒有此如此作。每一案例足以讓我們說，憐憫勝過審判。

現在讓我回到這封信的起頭。在1999年11月底，在熟睡中我被神親自叫醒。祂來給了我警告。“美國將會被摧毀如果我沒有順服祂，並且回應祂的呼召。”接下來的3個小時充滿了應許，警告和指示。藉著聖經的經文我學習到禱告的能力。如果你從未站在破口，為了禱告所帶下極大的回應，你無法明白我們的主耶穌基督是如何地有能力回應禱告。更進一步，你也許不知道，當祂說祂必須做些事時，祂其實真的不想要做。所以禱告的呼召和我們接下來的順服可以是生命和死亡的不同，再一次地，現在正是這樣緊要關頭的時刻。

我親愛和寶貴的朋友們，代禱是比以往更為重要。我們愈靠近神的介入，禱告愈是重要。我們正在生產中。當孩子要生出來時，媽媽不會為了看球賽而停止推動 ，不是嗎？她會更努力地直到小嬰孩在她的懷抱中。我們需要你，現在我們正需要你，直到將完滿的異象實現。如果造成不方便我實在抱歉。但我確定愈靠近神的介入愈是非常地重要。

你們有許多人知道我正在極大的爭戰中。敵人拜訪我，告訴我，他將會用任何的方式阻止我。他說我們不會贏得美國。神也造訪我，並保證，如果我們持續站立在破口，我們確定會贏得美國。爭戰尚未結束！我們必須一同站立，不停止，直到我們看見勝利在我們的手中。
