On Wednesday September 9, 2026, I was out walking and praying when suddenly the Lord opened my eyes to see the Angelic host of the 9Rs. I have seen them several times in the past year—each time they were feverishly working around the nation and they never stopped moving. I was simply granted the privilege to observe their work and witness them co-laboring with us to execute His Heavenly will here on the earth.

On September 9th however, the angels stopped moving and as I was walking, pulled me up into their world. We stood face to face. The truth is, they towered over me, they were easily over 12 feet tall, with a shoulder-span of 3-4 feet wide. They stood next to each other, shoulder to shoulder, with instruments in their hands.

Without words, I knew who they were and the names of each one. There was such intensity emanating from them and the experience was so overwhelming that the Lord needed to slow me down to even recall their order.

They moved toward me, three at a time, in accordance with their instruments, and stood directly in front of me. I could not speak in English but found myself speaking in my heavenly language. We communicated, they nodded and then took flight to their designated arena, reaching it almost instantly. Then, this was repeated with the next group. It seemed each group was assigned to different locations depending on the condition of that region, but again, they would go straight to work.

The final group (the Oil Angels) stood before me the longest. The vessels they held had leaves imprinted on them which I’ll discuss in greater detail next time. They deposited something in me, then poured the oil over me. Then, like the others, flew off to continue their work in the nation.

I watched as they approached and deposited the oil on certain people around the country. I believe these are prophetic intercessors. Next, they proceeded to pour the oil they carried over the land. The land received the oil, and it seemed to come to life, responding instantly to the deposits.

For days I tried not to process this experience and what it meant with my head but rather to be led by the Spirit of the Lord. I know they are here to assist us; I also know that this next season is going to be very significant.

There's going to be a tremendous work accomplished in the next season, fortunately, we are not alone in our efforts. I've never seen the partnership between intercessors and the heavenly host as much as I have in this past year and the Lord is revealing it for a reason. The Lord is weaving us together. He wants us to partner with them in this fight, and we must step out in faith and then link that faith with Heaven's plans and purposes in the earth.

When the Lord said 2027 was the Year of Separation, He was telling me that He is going to separate out the hardness in our hearts, carve us out of this world system, and cause us to be malleable, soft, and useable by Him for His plans and purposes. This is necessary for us to have a partnership with the Angelic Host, especially those of the 9 Rs.

Angels stand in the presence of our Holy God to receive their commissioning, so to stand in the presence of the Angels of the 9Rs is to feel the presence of His holiness; I wept involuntarily the moment they stood before me and this experience left me weeping for some time. I know this too is an important element of what the Lord is conveying right now. This is a very holy work; it’s been commissioned by the Lord to be executed by His heavenly host in partnership with His intercessors.

Now, I know there are those who believe we can order angels around, but this is not Scriptural. They are here to do the will of God, they partner with us, but they submit to the Lord’s Headship, without question. We must do the same.

We are going to look through some Scripture and talk about the role of angels just to lay the groundwork. This will not be extensive, but it will provide us with a good foundation of how they operate and interreact with prophets, intercessors, and servants of God. Understanding this is important because we need to keep the angelic host in proper regard. We also need to remember their position before God as He is their Commander in Chief. When we understand these things, it aids in increasing our own faith and focus as we prepare for this heavenly partnership with the Angels of the 9Rs.

We will discuss the instruments they carried, and next time we will discuss the specific work of the Angelic Host of the 9Rs.

1) Angels are God’s ministers. They are under divine authority, assigned by God to carry out His purposes, and they execute His pleasure in the earth.

18 Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the Lord; I saw the Lord sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.

20 Bless the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word. 21 Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do His pleasure.

2) Angels are sent to minister to the Prophets of God in the midst of great battles.

After his battle with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, Elijah found himself completely depleted.

4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers. 5 And as he lay and slept under a juniper tree, behold, then an angel touched him, and said unto him, Arise and eat.

6 And he looked, and, behold, there was a cake baked on the coals, and a cruse of water at his head. And he did eat and drink, and laid him down again. 7 And the angel of the Lord came again the second time, and touched him, and said, Arise and eat; because the journey is too great for thee.

8 And he arose, and did eat and drink, and went in the strength of that meat forty days and forty nights unto Horeb the mount of God.

3) Angels minister to us, the heirs of His Kingdom in the midst of great battles.

11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Years ago, while studying the Revolutionary War, I was reading the accounts of the soldiers who continued to fight for our independence despite their lack of food, proper shelter, even clothing. Many walked barefoot in the snow leaving trails of blood behind them. I was struck by their inner drive to press on despite their circumstances. I asked the Lord how they endured. He opened my eyes to see this event in living color. He showed me the angels moving about, laying their hands on the soldiers to strengthen them both physically and spiritually. I saw those who would die in the fight for the nation, the Lord would point and say, “these are My martyrs, they will lay down their lives for the birth of this nation.” I saw the trails of blood and He said, “these are My living martyrs, their blood is shed for the birth of a nation.” The angels are ministering servants sent forth by the Lord Himself to enable us to finish what we’ve been commissioned.

4) Angels ministered to the Son of God twice, once at the beginning of His ministry and once just prior to His Crucifixion

Matthew 4:11 at the end of 40 day fast when Satan tested Him:

11 Then the devil leaveth Him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto Him.

Luke 19:43 and as He wept before the Father, sweating great drops of blood in the Garden prior to His passion:

43 And there appeared an angel unto Him from heaven, strengthening Him.

5) Angels are sent here on assignment. They patrol and report back their findings.

10 And the man that stood among the myrtle trees answered and said, These are they whom the Lord hath sent to walk to and fro through the earth.11 And they answered the angel of the Lord that stood among the myrtle trees, and said, We have walked to and fro through the earth, and, behold, all the earth sitteth still, and is at rest.

6) Angels execute God’s discipline- discipline corrects.

When David was moved by Satan to number the children of Israel, David did not resist, and the Lord sent His discipline.

15 And God sent an angel unto Jerusalem to destroy it: and as he was destroying, the Lord beheld, and he repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed, It is enough, stay now thine hand. And the angel of the Lord stood by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

7) Angels execute God’s judgment.

In Isaiah 36 and 37, when the Assyrians came and surrounded Jerusalem. Rabshakeh mocked God, Hezekiah, and the people of Jerusalem. Hezekiah went to the Lord, and Isaiah returned with the Word of the Lord regarding the Assyrian’s threat. For the sake of the Davidic Covenant, the Lord protected Jerusalem. The Word of the Lord came forth that Rabshakeh would not so much as send an arrow into Jerusalem, instead, he would hear a rumor, be pulled back to Assyria, and there, he’d and his army would be dealt with.

36 Then the angel of the Lord went forth, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

8) Angels are God’s messengers bringing revelation and understanding.

21 Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation. 22 And he informed me, and talked with me, and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to give thee skill and understanding. 23 At the beginning of thy supplications the commandment came forth, and I am come to shew thee; for thou art greatly beloved: therefore understand the matter, and consider the vision.

9) Angels are warriors.

They battle principalities and powers as explained in Daniel, and they go before us in volatile situations such as when Jacob encountered Esau and when Joshua was headed into battle to take Jericho. The angels do not appear without purpose, and a “host of heaven” doesn’t show up unless the enemy is attempting to interfere or thwart God’s Covenant plans and purposes.

13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia

1And Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. 2And when Jacob saw them, he said, this is God's host: and he called the name of that place Mahanaim.

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries? 14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant? 15 And the captain of the Lord's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

The role of Angels is much more expansive than this brief summary, but for the purposes of our understanding, let’s remember, that they are under God’s authority, they execute both justice and discipline, they release and perform His Heavenly will here on earth, and they are warriors who serve in the Lord’s Army to ensure God’s Covenant purposes are fulfilled in the earth. We often see the appearance of angels in critical moments, moments when the enemy is attempting to overthrow or intercept God’s Covenant. In addition, they have served as His messengers to bring revelation and understanding to God’s people at pivotal, historical moments in time. As such, like Jacob, Joshua, Daniel and so on, we must take their appearance seriously and choose to partner with them to release the heavenly will and ways of God, here on the earth.

With that in mind, let us look briefly at the instruments the Angels of the 9Rs carried and then next time we will tie this in with each of the Angels of the 9Rs.

“Plowshares” — This is a key component to opening the soil for seed. This is essential to breaking up hardened ground and preparing it for a different harvest.

“Pruning hooks”— discerning removal and correction for increased fruitfulness. Unlike the plowshare, which breaks up the ground, the pruning hook deals with what has already grown upon that ground. Consider the pruning work of grape vines which, when done by the vinedresser, enable them to last over a century, or olive trees, when properly pruned, can last several centuries producing wonderful fruit throughout their lifetime.

The first two implements work upon the land to prepare it for planting and harvest, and what has grown up in the land to prune that which is not of God and make that which is, far more fruitful.

The oil, however, is applied and poured. The oil is deposited upon intercessors for greater impartation, higher anointing in prayer, and subsequently poured upon the land for healing, restoration, rebuilding and reconciling this nation to our God.

I have a shirt with the trunk of an olive tree formed up into a cross with its roots stretching down into the earth where the words “Faith and Freedom” are positioned. The dove, representing Holy Spirit, carries the olive leaf up in the corner. It is all positioned distinctly in front of the American flag. The Caption reads “250 Years, Faith and Freedom” with the date 1776-2026 at the bottom. I went to a doctor’s appointment wearing this shirt. My doctor is a Christian, he delivered my children and my grandchildren, so we’ve known each other for decades.

As he read the shirt, he solemnly noted “we’ve forgotten God, that’s our biggest problem, we’ve forgotten and lost sight of God’s hand in our nation, we need to be reconciled to Him. I could not agree more. That is the work of the Oil Angels on the nation and the people therein.

I know I share dreams and vision, I don’t speak of experiences much, because these are so precious to me. I have been in the presence of the Lord, and His holiness exposes and consumes everything; it’s a fearful thing to be in the presence of the Lord. This is not a casual encounter, this was an holy encounter. The Angels of the 9Rs are in the presence of His holiness and while we should never worship them (Col 2:18), to stand in their presence is to stand in the presence of those who were sent from the Throne room of God. This is a very significant time for us. We learn throughout Scripture that the angelic host does not show up if it is not a crucial moment in history. I believe we are at one of those moments.

The more I pray about this, the more I understand how the word of the Lord for 2027, as the Year of Separation, and the experience He gave me “the Angelic Host of the 9Rs” are connected. That said, when we avail ourselves to the Lord for His work of separating us from the world, the greater our partnership with His heavenly host is revealed.

If you remember from last time, the passage of Scripture Isaiah 59:17 “Truth has fallen (or stumbled) in the street” that was spoken to a people that were to be set apart to God, even the people of God are not receiving the truth. As I said, an angelic host does not show up unless the enemy is attempting to interfere or thwart God’s Covenant plans and purposes. While this is certainly a critical place for us to be in, the truth is, the appearance of the Angels of the 9Rs tells me that God is about to move some mountains and He wants us ready to engage with Him.

We’ll cover more of this next week, but just know, the plow is already turning the soil to prepare for seed and harvest, the pruning hooks are at work, removing what is dead and unproductive, and the oil is being poured out to prepare both us and the nation for the mighty work of reconciling us back to God!
