Last month, we hosted our annual autumn 3-Day Wildlife Cruise, and we had a blast! Guests and crew departed Port Townsend for an epic adventure spanning 203 nautical miles and featuring 3 whale species- orcas, humpbacks, and minke whales- plus seals, sea lions, puffins, other shore & diving birds, and a sea otter! Naturalist Rachel put together a detailed trip report — if you’d like to learn more about our multi-day adventure, click here!

🐋 Trip tip: cozy heated cabins 🫍

As we move further into the autumn/winter seasons, the days are getting cooler and shorter! Rest assured, though, if you choose to join us for an adventure on the water in Port Townsend or Seattle (Edmonds), our boats all feature cozy, temperature-controlled interior cabins. You’re welcome to spend the whole trip outside braving the elements, but if you decide that it’s time to warm up, each guest has a dedicated seat inside.

To ensure you’re as comfortable as possible, we’d recommend also bringing layers aboard. If you don’t end up needing your extra layers, feel free to leave them at your seat! We’d also recommend stopping by the galley to grab a hot beverage (hot chocolate, hot apple cider, coffee, or tea) and some freshly baked Blueberry Buckle.

Holiday party inspo 🎄😍

People in coats and hats use binoculars to search for wildlife aboard Swiftsure.

There’s a chill in the air, and it’s getting us excited for the upcoming holiday season! If you are looking for the perfect holiday party inspiration, look no further. The winter months bring a particularly magical atmosphere to the water. Your guests can relax in the comfort of our high-speed catamarans, featuring heated, climate-controlled cabins that ensure a cozy experience regardless of the weather.

While on board, enjoy hot chocolate, premium coffee, and our signature Blueberry Buckle coffee cake, baked fresh daily. It’s the perfect environment for fostering community and creating lasting memories during the festive season!
