Subject: **Cannabis Industry Update** -420 College Newsletter

420 College and our business partners and associates aim to provide the most up to date information on the ever-changing cannabis laws and regulations for businesses. We teach all over the U.S. with our corporate offices located in Pasadena, Fresno, Sacramento and San Diego. Since our start in 2009, we’ve been providing future and existing cannabis business owners and entrepreneurs with quality cannabis business training by the way of seminars, courses, workshops, conferences and classes in California, Oregon, Washington, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Washington D.C, and Ohio.
On Tuesday, November 29th, 420 College attended the Los Angeles City Council committee hearing on Cannabis/Marijuana to participate and discuss important topics regarding the guidelines of the cannabis industry. The meeting is open to the public and is another important opportunity for the Neighborhood Councils to be part of the change. Cold weather and a late meeting time wouldn't stop the large council room from filling up with eager supporters ready to speak to the city council. Some appeared angry, some calm, while a few decided to take the comedic approach.
With so many industry speakers and cannabis business owners speaking their opinion and input on such a critical topic, the Los Angeles city council gave surprisingly good feedback and support in working together to try and find a solution to problems that might arise. Topics ranging from onsite consumption of marijuana, to where and what times a cannabis business can operate. At one point it even sparked a question from Lead Council Member Herb J. Wesson, Jr. asking one of the speakers, "Is it a bad idea to have onsite consumption of marijuana where alcohol is sold?"
Another important topic that arose and was supported by cheers and clapping from the crowd was the topic of diversity in business owner ship. Supporters making sure that the cannabis business industry keep a level playing field that allows everyone the opportunity for cannabis business entrepreneurship.
As we continue our Seminar's across the U.S.
Our Sacramento seminar was one of our biggest yet! With our appreciation and thanks to the California Water Board and California Board of Equalization for giving their presentation and doing their part in contributing to the guidelines set by the Medical Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act. Since the legalization of cannabis in California, more people are starting to educate themselves on the laws regarding cannabis regulations and are learning the steps to getting their compliant business started or to grow their current business legally. 420 College is here for you and we are glad we can help you Succeed!
