Subject:Â đŸ”” why social is crickets for you

And how to turn it into a csh cow in less time

Tired of endless posting on social, and getting no likes, no followers, no impact?

Are you getting that dreadful silence that makes your heart sink a little after every post?

Here are two steps to get better results, and actually start loving the social experience.

Before I reveal them, here’s a bonus key point to understand

Social is no longer social first.

Social is first a media platform.

It’s for exposure.

To expose you, your mission, your vision, your products, etc. to people who are actively looking for it.

Yes, you will and should be actively engaging with people once you figure out how to reach them (see steps below)

But, your goal as a creator is to use the MEDIA source to gain the exposure that brings people into your world.

Ok, so knowing that, here are two steps that will help you get more exposure.

🛑 1.  Stop trying to be everywhere.

Pick ONE platform and become hyperactive on it.

Most people are trying to be everywhere, and not only is it spreading you thin

But, most likely, it’s making you kinda not like the social platform experience.

Plus, every platform is different.

Has different rules.

Different little nuances that you’ll never fully master trying to be everywhere.

It’s better to spend your time maximizing your content in one place.

It allows you to be more focused.

It allows you to be better at content.

And here’s something else people don’t often think about

It allows you to unlock the actual SOCIAL power of social media.

It allows you to comment and react on other people’s stuff (which helps your reach over time.)

Plus, it allows you the time to actually interact with the people interacting with your content.

You can now have time to comment back, to reach out to those who like and share your stuff.

And to have real, meaningful DM conversations that lead to sales.

✅ 2. Be HYPER specific on who your content is for, and what the content is about.

When social media was more social, and less media, I used to say differently.

I used to say find your five core desires and spread your posts about that, so people could get to know you.

Now that it’s media focused first

Your content has to be HYPER specific. Here’s why

All platforms have their own algorithm, but they all have the same goal

To keep people on the platform.

So, here’s what the platform does.

It uses it’s own algorithm to match your content with who (the audience) it best fits.

If your content is all over the place, the algorithm won’t be able to figure you out.

So, it will just keep trying to show you to different audiences each time you post about something non specific.

This hurts your targeted reach.

You want to build an audience of people very specifically into what you’re selling.

Because let’s be honest, we’re putting in all of this effort to create sales.

So, now that social is media focused, EVERY post should be about the same thing.

If what you’re selling has to do with pet health.

ONLY post about things related to pet health.

If you’re building a business around makeup, ONLY post about makeup and beauty products.

If you’re building a NM business, ONLY post content that would help other NM’ers build their business.

You get the point.

No more random posts about what you did today, or about the kids school play as each one of those squashes your reach, and throws the algorithm off.

The goal isn’t just “virality.”

⭐ It’s TARGETED virality.

You want to eventually go viral to ONLY the specific market that you are trying to make sales in.

Social isn’t hard.

It’s just a bit misunderstood.

When you know this, you can maximize social media, and have some fun with it again.

Media first.

So, you can be social with only those hyper targeted for your offer.

That’s how you win in today’s social media platforms. If that helped you out even a tiny bit

Could you help me out and reply to this email with the social platform that you spend the most time on?

Thanks so much.
