It's been an awesome week of finalizing the tech side of the back office.
Everything is coming together so well from every angle, and I'll be uploading some content in over the weekend.
So, we can start diving into some stuff next week.
But, I was listening to something today that really struck me.
And I wanted to share it with you, because as a Founder, there is a resposibility to "breathe" correctly.
Here's what I mean...
Take a deep breath in.
Now, without letting it out, take in another.
And again, without letting it out, take in another.
Are you suffocating yet?
If so, let it out for goodness sakes!
Why did I make you do that?
To show you the importance of letting out into the world what you take in.
As we go through this journey, I am going to pour everything I can into you.
And as you breathe it in, you'll be filled with amazing knowledge, and skill, and excitement, and hope, and all of the F.reedom producing goodness I can give you.
But, if you never let it out.
If you never give it back to the world, you're going to suffocate.
This is why we are F.reedom "Builders."
Because as we build ourselves, we are also reaching out and building others.
My hope is that what you'll come to realise about what we are doing here is this...
We are not just building a b.usiness.
We are building people.
And we are building futures.
And we can't do that without breathing all of the life we are taking in...
Back out into the world.
When Jesus visited the deciples after His resurrection, He breathed on them, giving them The Holy Spirit.
So, that they in turn could breathe that same life into others.
And here's the second part that's just as important.
What you breathe in, matters.
So fill yourself with life always.
Because what you take in, is what you will breathe out.
In the same few minutes, Jesus also said, if you forgive people, they are forgiven and the burden on you is released.
But, if you don't, the burden remains.
Not on them...
But on you.
I'm paraphrasing and adding my own words, but the bottom line I believe, is a couple of things.
First, no matter what you believe spiritually, what you breathe into your life matters.
What you allow in, is what will eventually come out.
As we go along here, you will probably feel challenged.
You'll feel like things are new.
You might even be discouraged.
But, before you allow that breath of discouragement to get onto others...
Get into a quiet place, and get it out.
Or seek the help of the community who gets you, to lift you.
Just as if you had the flu, don't just breathe that onto others.
It makes them sick too.
Stay focused on the life, and skill, and potential, and f.reedom that is being breathed into you.
So, you can in turn make sure that life and hope and excitement is what you breathe out onto others.
Kind of a deep message heading into the weekend.
But, what we accomplish here as a community can be a beautiful gift onto the world.
God breathed into me the desire to help people build the skills that would set them f.ree.
He breathed into me the desire to not just build a b.usiness, but to build people and futures.
There are moments when I've held that breath and it was suffocating me.
Just like you holding in your gifts and desires will suffocate you.
Maybe already is.
I promise that as you breathe out all that you recieve, I will continue to breathe more and more of the life God is breathing into me....
Into you.
You will always have breath and life to give.
This is our chance together...
To breathe out all that we have onto those that God has called us to serve.
And to build the most incredible future possible.
