Subject: Friend, it's Giving Tuesday. Let's make a difference for the poor!

Dear Friend:

Happy Advent!

We’ve just celebrated Thanksgiving, and I can’t help but think about how grateful we are for you.

You’ve been a friend to the Redemptorists, and it’s because of you that our priests and brothers are able to carry out their mission to help the poorest and most abandoned of God’s people.
A few days before Jesus died for us, He said, “The poor you will always have with you, and whenever you wish, you can do good to them.”

We say, how about now?
Today is Giving Tuesday—a day set aside to focus on giving, not getting—serving others, not shopping. It’s a day that unites the world for good.

Will you make a special gift to the Redemptorists this Giving Tuesday to help us continue serving the poor?

Even the smallest amount makes a big difference.

Gifts from friends like you make everything we do possible:
  • Helping the poor through more than 200 ministries that feed, clothe, and comfort children and adults
  • Serving in poor inner-city parishes
  • Preaching the mercy and love of Jesus Christ throughout the country
  • Training men who will serve the poor as Redemptorist priests and brothers
  • Taking care of elderly Redemptorists who gave their lives serving others and
  • Promoting devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Please give to make a difference now.

May God bless you, and may Our Mother of Perpetual Help watch over you with a mother’s care.

director of communications

P.S. We created a short video to show you some of the ways we help the poor. Will you take just a couple of minutes to check it out?
