Subject: Friend, here's the Redemptorists' e-newsletter for August 2016

Dear Friend: here’s the August 2016 edition of our e-newsletter.
Help us celebrate Our Mother of Perpetual Help on September 17
As part of our celebration of Our Mother of Perpetual Help this jubilee year, we’re planning a very special event in Washington, D.C., on September 17, and we hope you’ll join us. We’ll have Mass at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception at 2 p.m., with Archbishop Joseph Tobin, C.Ss.R., as celebrant, followed by a gala reception on the adjacent Catholic University of America campus.

Pray our new novena
to St. Alphonsus Liguori

Redemptorists worldwide celebrated the feast of St. Alphonsus Liguori, our founder, on August 1—but you can pray our new novena to the saint anytime. Click the link below to learn more about Alphonsus and pray the novena.
You’re invited to a Redemptorist
retreat at the seashore
Join Fathers John McGowan and Patrick Woods for a retreat focused on Redemptorist spirituality from Friday, August 26, through Sunday, August 28. The location is San Alfonso Retreat House in Long Branch, New Jersey, right on the Atlantic Ocean. The retreat leaders seek to make the retreat spiritually refreshing while giving participants time to relax and enjoy the wonder of God’s creation.
