Subject: Friend: Let us pray for your beloved deceased on All Souls Day

The feast of All Souls is November 2

Dear Friend:

As Catholics, we keep the ancient tradition of praying for our beloved dead: the faithful departed.

That’s the beauty of our annual celebration of All Souls on November 2—and our custom of praying for the dead in a special way for the entire month.

May we include your deceased loved ones in our Masses and prayers this All Souls day and throughout the month?

We know that our prayers, sacrifices, and almsgiving are priceless gifts that help and comfort the holy souls in purgatory—preparing them for eternity with the Father and all the saints in heaven.

Of course, no prayer is ever wasted. If our loved ones are already enjoying the bliss of heaven, our prayers will console others who remain in purgatory.

To enroll your deceased loved ones, simply

Redemptorist priests and brothers will remember them in their Masses and daily prayers on All Souls and throughout the month of November.

Thank you for your goodness. May God bless you!
