Subject: Friend: It's not too late to join us Sept. 17 as we honor OMPH

Dear Friend:

I've emailed previously to make sure you know about our jubilee celebration Saturday, September 17, in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help—so please forgive me if you've already responded.

If you haven't, it is not too late to join us!

It’s been 150 years since the Redemptorists were entrusted with the ancient and miraculous icon of Our Mother of Perpetual Help.

Our celebration of this special anniversary begins at 2 p.m. with Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C. The principal celebrant will be The Most Rev. Father Michael Brehl, C.Ss.R., the Redemptorists’ worldwide superior general.

The Mass will be televised live on EWTN, and the video feed is also being offered to New Evangelization Television (NET-TV) of the Diocese of Brooklyn and Telecare of the Diocese of Rockville Centre.

Afterward the festivities will continue on the adjacent campus of Catholic University. At the Pryzbyla University Center, we’re hosting a reception, complete with heavy hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, dessert, and coffee. Tickets to the reception cost $25 per person.

To buy a ticket, call our office at 877-876-7662, or visit our online gift shop. Tickets will be sold online or by phone through 4 p.m. Friday, September 16.

We hope to see you September 17!

Mary C. Weaver
