Subject: We’d like to pray for your beloved dead on All Souls Day

Dear Friend:

All Souls is one of the most beloved feasts of the Church year—and no wonder.

On this day, November 2, and throughout the month of November, we have the perfect opportunity to remember our beloved dead, to pray that they are on their way to heaven, and to know that the whole Church prays with us.

Today we have a special gift to share with you: a novena and selection of prayers for All Souls, written by St. Alphonsus Liguori, founder of the Redemptorists.

Our hope is that these beautiful prayers will help make this All Souls Day a great blessing and comfort for you.

Will you let us pray for your beloved dead throughout the month of November?

Chances are good your parish church keeps a book in which you can write the names of loved ones and friends who have entered into eternity.

We have a “book” as well, and we invite you to add the names of your beloved dead so the Redemptorists can pray for them and for you on All Souls Day and throughout the month of November.

Simply visit our website at the link below to send us your name and the names of those you wish us to pray for.

“For this is the will of my Father,
that everyone who sees the Son
and believes in him may have eternal life,
and I shall raise him on the last day.”
—John 6:40
