Subject: Enroll loved ones in our Easter Masses

Dear friend of the Redemptorists:
There’s something truly magnificent about the Paschal candle, blessed each year during the Easter Vigil. As the priest processes into the darkened church during this most solemn liturgy, he carries this beautiful candle—a sign of the risen Lord—proclaiming “Light of Christ!”

What a powerful symbol of the light and life Christ brings to a world in darkness! With His death and resurrection, Jesus conquers sin, suffering, and death. Christ is truly risen!
This Easter, I invite you to join the Redemptorists in sharing the light of Christ and supporting our mission as we bring Christ’s plentiful redemption to a world where so many live in spiritual darkness and material poverty.

You may have received our beautiful Easter Mass cards in the mail and already enrolled your loved ones in our octave of Masses, beginning on Easter Sunday, to be celebrated in Rome before the original icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help.

We wanted to let you know there is still time to enroll your friends and family members in these special Masses.

Will you send us your loved ones’ names by noon Eastern time this Thursday, April 2?

We will forward them to our priests in Rome so they can be included in our octave of Masses.

Will you also help us serve the poor with your gift?

How to enroll your loved ones

You can enroll your loved ones in our Easter octave of Masses in two ways:

1. You can send us your loved ones’ names and give a gift securely online by visiting http://baltreds.us/easter-octave

2. Or you can e-mail your loved ones' names to our office manager, Kathy Whaley, at kwhaley@redemptorists.net.

Either way, we will make sure the names are included in the list sent to Rome this Thursday afternoon.

If you have any questions, please call us toll-free at 877-876-7662 before 3 p.m. EDT this Thursday.

Our mission

The Redemptorists serve the world’s most abandoned. We live our faith by preaching parish missions and helping people experience God’s abundant mercy and love—a love stronger than sin or death.

We bring food, clothing, and other essentials to people who are desperately poor.

Your generous gifts make it possible for us to bring the light of God’s love, forgiveness, and peace to the abandoned and forgotten—sons and daughters of the Lord who suffer from poverty, loneliness, injustice, and pain.

On behalf of all our priests and brothers, I wish you and those you love a happy and blessed Easter. May we be signs of Christ’s love and light every day of our lives!

In Our Risen Redeemer,

Father Paul Borowski, C.Ss.R.
Provincial Superior
