Subject: Friend, can you help our elderly and infirm Redemptorists today?

Will you help us let our elderly priests and brothers know
they haven’t been forgotten?
Dear Friend:

The older I get, the more I find myself reflecting on God’s many blessings—especially the people He’s put in my life.

I’ll bet you feel the same.

I couldn’t possibly name all the wonderful Catholics—people like you—who have been so good to me. But there’s one group I give special thanks for: our elderly priests and brothers.

These holy men have given their whole lives for God and for us. They served with joy, in good times and bad. They left everything behind to minister to the poorest of the poor, here at home and in foreign lands.

And they did it all out of love.

Now, near the end of their earthly lives, our elderly priests and brothers need to know we still care about them. Many of them need specialized medical or nursing care as well.

I don’t need to tell you about the cost of health care these days . . . hearing aids, walkers, and wheelchairs; prescription medicines; supplemental health insurance; specialized nursing care; physical therapy; and more.

You’ve been such a good friend to the Redemptorists.

Will you help us care for these good men in their final years—and let them know we haven’t forgotten them?

Here’s how.

Visit our website at https://redemptorists.net/elderly2017/ and make a gift to help us care for these good men.

Very important: In the comment field of our giving form, please add a personal note too!

Your gift will make a tremendous difference as we care for our elderly priests and brothers in their final years!

We will print all the personal messages we receive by September 30 and hand-deliver them to our priests and brothers in assisted living this October.

I can’t wait to see the joy on their faces as they read everyone’s notes and realize people like you remember them and pray for them. It will mean so much to them!

May Our Lord richly bless you for your thoughtfulness, and may Our Lady watch over you with a mother’s tender care.

Gratefully in Christ,

Father Paul Borowski, C.Ss.R.
Provincial Superior
