Two On-Demand Pro Bono CLEs Released

Two free on-demand CLEs have been added to the Indiana Pro Bono Network's Training & Resources section:

  • Bankruptcy & the Clinic Client 2026 (1.0 CLE) Available under Bankruptcy Basics, this program covers how to effectively and quickly counsel debtors facing overwhelming debt.

  • Landlord-Tenant Overview 2026 (0.5 CLE)
    Available under Landlord-Tenant Relations, this course introduces the fundamentals of landlord-tenant law and residential lease agreements.

You must be registered with and logged into IPBN to access these CLEs. 

NEW: Limited-Scope Materials & Templates

A new online manual, developed exclusively for members of the Indiana Pro Bono Network, provides a practical introduction to providing limited scope representation and services, including how to evaluate and document engagements, navigate interactions with the court system, and ethically complete limited scope work with confidence. Materials provided Include sample letters, checklists, and form pleadings.

Proposed Pro Bono Rule Change - Let Your Voice be Heard!

The Indiana Supreme Court is considering an amendment to Professional Conduct Rule 1.8 that would permit attorneys providing pro bono legal services to offer limited, modest financial assistance to their clients to cover transportation, meals, clothing, or temporary lodging if needed to facilitate their pro bono representation or assistance.
