Just a quick note to encourage you all to be using LinkedIn in conjunction with your digital business card. For those of you that have the texting option, I highly recommend you place your keyword/number combination in as many prominent places as possible. I have recently been successful with it (closed business AND connected/met with a HUGE gatekeeper) by simply searching for people by keywords and connecting with them. By subtly "nudging" them I get them to look at my profile and text my keyword. Then I follow up by texting their cell numbers as I always do.
I JUST STARTED this process and have already seen great results, plus have increased my connections dramatically. I'd be happy to jump on a call with anyone who would like more details.
