Do you have an opt-in
offer on your blog?
Do you link to a free
offer (lead magnet)?
Do you link to a
squeeze page?
Do you know how
easy it is to create a
quiz to build your list?
These are all excellent
ways to get people to
subscribe to your
email list.
Now, the problem is,
people resist joining
your list.
Why?
You can try all the pop-ups,
fancy opt-in boxes, and squeeze
page styles in the world.
Until people trust you,
they don't have a compelling
reason to follow you.
Again… people must trust
you before they'll follow you.
Just offering some free
ebook or cheat sheet
doesn't work anymore.
The market is flooded with
stuff like that.
Do you subscribe to people's
lists just to get some free
ebook?
Probably not.
You have to pre-sell people
on your authority and expertise
before asking them to join your
email list.
Before… asking.
Here's a surefire roadmap for
doing just that.
Article Re-purposing
When you write a blog post,
create a few variations of it.
Just do some quick and
simple edits and rewrites
so that one blog post has
2 or 3 unique “versions.”
Post these edited versions
on other platforms, like LinkedIn,
Medium and Quora.
That multiplies the “reach” of
your original blog post.
It taps into audiences that are
not on your blog, but can be
directed to your blog through
links you embed in your
re-purposed articles.
When you do this, people
start seeing you "everywhere."
Especially when you link to all
your many content pieces on
your social media accounts.
That's the way to pre-sell
Yourself as a person who
should be followed.
If you're like too many
people…
you might think this is too
much work.
But once you develop a
re-purposing calendar and
system, it starts flowing
like clock-work.
And it makes a major
difference in your business.
It not only drives lots of
people to your blog, but
it's an ironclad method
you can use to position yourself
so "people *want* to follow you"
