Subject: [part 3] getting more organic traffic to your blog

Hi Friend

Positioning yourself in
front of your
target audience.

This is the 3rd step
in driving that organic
traffic to your blog.

It's a big step, too,
because it is the
one that makes
your blogging brand…
your "personal brand"…

take root
shine
emerge
profit

Step 3 -
Over time (I told you organic
traffic will cost you time
instead of money)…

Over time, invite people
from other blogs and social
sites to a blog post you
wrote "just for them."

In other words, a blog
post you've published
that specifically solves
a key problem they have.

So, you might write a blog
post called “6 Foolproof
ways to keep critters out
of your organic garden.”

I know you can find a
better title, but you
see the point?

Solve a problem for
the people in your
organic farmer crowd.

If you can solve their
problems, they will
begin to see you as
someone to follow.

Remember, they
probably saw a link
to your post when
they were on one of
the "big guys" blogs
or social sites.

But now…

They will then join
your email list for
more great solutions
from you.

They will read your blog.

They’ll start following and
engaging with you on
social media.

So here's what you've got.

Readers are not just “readers.”

Traffic is not just “traffic.”

They are all people…
real people, with real problems.

They want to connect with
other real people who are
helpful, sincere, amusing,
fun… whatever.

They've been following some
of the "big guys" in your
niche.

But they saw you there.

Interacting.

Commenting.

Sharing.

Linking to your posts.

So you did your
homework…

You reached out to them
and demonstrated from
your conversations and
blog posts, that…

you are one of those people
who can help them solve
their problems.

you are one of the "big guys".

And you are available to
help them have a better life.

even if it’s something as
small as keeping critters
out of their gardens.

Once you get to this point,
then you can consider
all the other “traffic techniques”
and maybe put them to the test,
one at a time.

But this should get you going.

In fact, it should forever be
the most important thing
you do to keep traffic rolling
your way.

If you haven't already…

As early as possible, get an
autoresponder and start
building an email list.

This is how you get to
build a database of people
interested in what you’re
blogging about.

This is how you keep in touch
with them, let them know each
time you write a new blog post
(ie., drive “traffic” to it),
engage them with your ideas,
and yes, even sell things to them
that are related to your niche.
