Hi Friend
Blogging is "effective" to the extent that you master it in order to …
* attain your goals, * realize your dreams, * improve your life and those who follow you.
Most people I coach and hang out with, use blogging as a means to dump the J.O.B.
So I’ll talk about blogging as a business model.
When I first started blogging, some 6 years ago, people loved the idea of throwing together some blog posts reviews of products and earning affiliate commissions.
They were also big on creating niche sites.
Those were sites like “juiceblenderA-1285 .com”
The idea was to grab people searching for the exact product, a juice blender by "company x, model A-1285."
If people were plugging that exact term into the search field, then they were probably getting ready to buy it.
They just wanted to see what the “reviews” on it were, first.
Now, today, I’ve seen a lot of bloggers turning away from that kind of affiliate and niche marketing because Google has implemented so many changes.
It’s just becoming harder to keep those niche sites ranking high.
Many people have just decided that blogging is not so important any more.
In other words, they don’t think they can make blogging commissions like they used to.
Many of those folks have turned to social media more…
Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and others.
Tomorrow, we'll look at social media as an alternative to blogging.
