Subject: [email marketing] how to score big (part-5)

Hi Friend

Want paying
customers and clients?

Here's the deal.

Most people I've worked
with hate selling.

Nonetheless…

They DO want paying
customers and clients.

So, what to do?

Let's consider a few things.

Selling Too Hard

We all know that email
marketing is about selling.

We've all seen those greedy
little email marketers who
never stop selling us stuff.

Every single day there's
something else.

Every time you see their
email you know that they
want you to buy something.

And I guess that's ok as
long as it's not THE ONLY
purpose for emailing.

You must give people value.

It could be in the form of
tips or tricks or strategies
or information.

It could be in the form
of humor or stories or
relationship-building.

It doesn't much matter how
you give them the value…

but you must give them
something of actual value.

By value I mean something
that helps them solve a problem.

And you can't just say it will
solve a problem.

It must actually do it.

Or something else that
helps improve their lives.

If you ARE doing that…
then they don't mind
you selling something.

Especially when they
actually need what you
are offering in order to
have their lives improved,
and
have their problem solved.

In that case, they actually
look for what you're selling
because know it's what
they need.

Question

Now, how do they know
that it's what they need,
that it will improve their lives,
that they're not just getting
some lame sales pitch?

Answer...

Trust.

Everything you do must
build trust.

Next time, we'll talk about
the alternative to "hard selling."
