Of course, I already know the answer.
So do you.
Just about everyone grows up thinking of leaving their
mark on the world in their own way.
One person wants to be a basketball player, someone else
a teacher, an author, a dancer... you name it.
Everyone wants to be a "somebody."
They want to be known as the person who did something
special, wrote something amazing, was always kind and
loving.
Well, the truth is, we all have it in us to change the
world.
Not in the same way, but in our own unique sort of way.
And if we don't answer our call to greatest and uniqueness,
then we're not just failing to change the world... we're
allowing the world to change us.
One of the things I love about working with people online
is that the internet is such a fulcrum... such a pivotal
and powerful place in the universe of ideas, motivation
and yes, even business.
I mean, just think of how many people you reach every
time you make a simple little post on Facebook.
Now, if you want to gather some gusto and go for really
trying to make a change in peoples lives... which is the
only way to change the world... then you can do more.
You can build a blog.
You can create an ebook.
You can open a YouTube channel and post to it regularly.
These are all ways to reach out into the world.
But, I know, most of you also need to earn a living and
build some security and freedom to do your work of passion.
That will give you even more time changing the world.
So why not use the very same powerful internet to build
a business?
That very same blog, eBook or YouTube channel can be
turned from a casual hobby into a galloping enterprise.
Now, just imagine what it would be like to combine the
power of the internet with your biggest dreams of changing
the world and improving lives.
Wow, now that's legacy.
That's something to be remembered for.
And you can do it.
If you're just playing around on Facebook and dreaming
about improving lives...
why not put those dreams into the structure of a blog,
just for one example.
Now, you've planted the seed for a business that can help
yourself at the same time that it's helping others.
Why not build an online business that lies within the
realm of your passion?
Yes, you absolutely can.
And it can reward you amazingly.
You just have to think beyond ten dollar commissions, and
pennies for article submissions.
There is a much much much better way.
A much much much bigger way, to harness the unlimited
power of the internet in order to change the world.
Think of what your passion is.
What your dreams are.
How you can impact the world.
How you can help others actually do NEED your help.
Then think of what you have to do to make this happen.
It's not easy, there is no magic in the internet that
will spare you the hard work and grit and perseverance
that has always been, and still is, the requisite for
greatness and unlimited prosperity.
But you can do it.
What would you like to do most?
Blog?
Create videos?
Create instruction digital products like video trainings
or eBooks?
Be an author? Again, blogging and eBooks.
What platform should you use?
Who do you know that could coach you along the way, or
help you learn the ropes so it won't take you a year just
to figure out the basics?
These are all things you can do.
I know it because in my own way, I'm doing it.
I know it because I talk to people every single day who
are doing it and doing it big.
The question is not CAN you do it, but WILL you?
Will you figure out how and why and what can propel you
to use the internet to change the world instead of passing
around cute little animal videos?
Will you take the time and do the work to use the internet
to build a real business based on your deepest passions...
something you would be proud to be remembered for?
The alternative is abandon your deepest dreams, your highest
goals, and give up trying to change the world...
to settle for being changed by it.
It's something to think about this Saturday morning.
