Hi Friend
You need to have calls-to-action (CTA’s) on your blog.
You have to make it very clear what you want people to do.
People will not join your list if you don't ask them to.
You have to tell them why they should join your list.
How will it benefit them?
And you have to tell them exactly how to do it.
Then tell them exactly what they'll be getting when they do join your list.
How often will you email them?
What sorts of information will you give them in your email messages?
What will they learn from you by being on your email list?
What special deals or discounts can they expect as subscribers?
In other words...
What benefit will they get by being on your email list?
Spell all these things out very clearly.
Very clear calls-to-action are critical.
It’s very common for bloggers to put the CTA’s on their side bars.
That's really not the best place to do it, though.
Most people don’t even look at your sidebar.
I believe the best place to put your calls-to-action are within your blog post itself.
It should be a natural part of your content, not something separate.
While people are reading solutions to their problems, let them know that you can help them even more when they join your email list.
Make your CTA’s blend in seamlessly with your content.
Don't make them stand out like something extra for people to think about.
People don't like to be interrupted in their thought flows.
Make your calls-to-action harmonious and relevant to your blog post.
Whatever problem you're solving in any particular blog post, let them know that they can get more and expanded solutions to that particular problem by joining your email list.
Calls-to-action are critical.
Make them good and make them relevant to your content.
Don’t be shy.
Ask people directly and in no uncertain terms to join your email list.
Time to get work, but…
Be sure to have a glorious weekend :)
