It's real easy to get so caught up in the everyday tasks of running a blog that you lose focus on how to make it profitable.
After all, isn't that the real point to having a blog?
Not for everyone, I understand.
Some people blog for a cause, or to position themselves in to achieve greater workplace advancement.
There are really a great many reasons to blog, and you know what yours is.
For the vast majority of the people I coach and teach through my products...
blogging is a way to break loose from a day job, or a way to an independent lifestyle that allows them to work when and where they want.
It's called the "laptop lifestyle" because that's precisely what it is.
Wherever you can take a laptop... that is your "office."
I've done plenty of my work in the back yard, or at the local coffee shop.
I do it when I want.
I take breaks when I want.
I take a holiday when I want.
I can travel across the country and set up my "office" as I do... wherever I happen to be.
That's what most of the folks I've worked with are looking for.
But keeping yourself busy with hours and weeks and months of online tasks that are not picking up your bottom line...
that's a certain formula for blogging overwhelm, followed by simply dropping out.
I know what I'm saying.
I see it over and over again.
Yet, those bloggers who start focusing on the right things can get past all that sludge and rise to the top.
When they stop working so hard at things that just don't really matter... great things begin to happen.
Are you ready?
In the next few minutes you can learn to focus on the right things.
