Hi Friend
It's pretty common for people to worry about not blogging enough.
But did you ever stop to think that you could be blogging too much?
Now of course blogging a lot can be helpful, and I’m not suggesting it’s a bad thing to do.
You see big bloggers that blog every day.
But I guess what I'm talking about is the more typical solo blogger who is struggling to get content out on a regular basis.
Some people tell you To blog a lot because the search engines to love it.
You hear about writing long-form content because the search engines love it.
That's all nice if you have a staff helping you write your content.
(big bloggers do)
Or if you have a lot of guest writers standing in the wings.
(PS: putting together a roll of guest posts is no simple thing either.
Sometimes it just may be easier to write the things yourself instead of -searching for writers -editing what they write, and -making sure that is not duplicate content from somewhere else.)
But I digress.
Bloggers tell you to write as much as you can because the more you write the better your ranking will be.
Here's the thing though.
You can blog a lot You can blog everyday You can can blog long-form You can can blog short-form
But if you're spending so much time kicking out content that you don't get to spend time on other parts of your business…
then you just may be blogging too much.
Don't get caught in the trap doing nothing with your Business, because you’re on an endless treadmill of putting out content.
Yes, you are blogging a lot.
But never taking
time to properly
market it.
Emphasis: Properly vs. Sloppily
Maybe you are...
Never taking time
to monetize your
blog properly.
Never taking the
time to get your
own product or
service together.
Never taking the
time to put together
a sales page and a
little sales funnel so
that you can start
earning from your blog.
Yes it's important to
blog a lot -
but it's too much if
it's stopping you from
doing the rest of your
business.
Remember …
getting good ranking
in the search engines
is important.
But not as important
as having a solid
business model and running your business according to it.
At the end of the day..
you can have a top-ranked
blog with tons of traffic BUT
be dead flat on your bottom line.
Or you can have medium
ranked blog that's doing
really well for you.
So think about it.
What’s more important?
Your blog “ranking?”
Or
your “Blogging Business?”
Then ask yourself…
Are you blocking too much?
