Facebook was the clear
winner …
The other day I asked
you what your top
“traffic source” will be
in 2018.
I didn’t really count,
but the clear winner
(maybe 75-80%) was
Facebook.
Everybody love using
FB as their traffic source.
Now, that’s fine if you
are committed to sticking
with your strategy.
I suspect that the main
reason people chose
FB is that all the pros
recommend it
and talk about it
and sell courses teaching it
etc
etc
It’s the “talk of the town”
so to speak.
I know, though, that many
people have been getting
poor results with FB, though.
But that doesn’t seem
to dampen the spirit.
In fact, I think it kindles
the ambition to learn
more about how to
best use FB.
If you’re not getting
good results with
FB… you’re probably
likely to blame yourself.
You just don’t know
how to do it right, but
darn it… you’re going
to learn.
That’s a good, healthy
approach…
up to a point.
The fact remains, that
FB is a great source
for traffic IF you have
1. the budget
2. the knowledge
So I’m suggesting that
if you’re going the FB
route for your main
traffic source in 2018,
don’t think it’s going
to happen with free
promotion.
FB is just not set up
to give you much
“reach” anymore,
unless you’re ready
to put your credit
card of Paypal account
on the line.
That’s fine, too, if
your profits more than
pay for your costs.
But, again, you have
to be sure you know
what your doing when
your play the paid ads,
Pay per Click game.
The big guys have
both…
the budget
and
the knowledge.
