Subject: Friend, here's "how to get" lots of steady, unpaid traffic (part 3)

Hi Friend

You'll never get even your highest
quality blog post seen…
unless you learn how to promote it.

Promotion is multifaceted.

But remember, for the last few
days I've been focusing on
unpaid methods…

in other words, methods that
don't cost you an arm and a
leg.

In fact, methods that cost
you exactly zero.

If you want to know why,
see my first email in this
series from a few days
back.

This is actually my third.

So…

Let's start promoting your
incredibly wonderful blog post.

Social Media Posting

Social media posting is one of the
best ways to get people to your blog.

Every time you write a blog post, put
the link on your Facebook status update.

Link to it on Twitter.

Same for LinkedIn.

And any other social media sites that
you and your audience frequent.

Create a checklist so that every time you
write a blog post you know every single
thing you're going to do to promote it.

This is the way you get fresh and free traffic.

And lots of it.

Now here is where a lot of
bloggers go wrong.

They write a new blog post and post it
to Twitter, Facebook and everywhere
else that they're active.

Then they walk away and start writing
their next blog post...

or shooting their next video…

or whatever else they might have
on their production schedule.

But they forget about the blog
post they just wrote.

They wrote it, they promoted it,
and now they're done with it.

It doesn't work that way, though.

Once you've written a blog post,
you have  a digital asset.

How good is that?

Well it's only as good as the
promotion behind it.

So don't just promote it once.

Promote it multiple times.

Start the first day you write it.

Then promote it several more
times in that same week.

After that you need to create a
schedule where you will promote it
on an ongoing and regular basis.

You can use tools like Buffer, or
my favorite one is Post Planner.

Or you can do it manually.

But make sure that you're promoting
your blog post on an ongoing basis
for a long.

It's not unusual for me to be promoting
a blog post that I wrote two years ago
on any given day.

It gets done according to my social
media posting schedule.

But it does get done.

This keeps a fresh flow of free traffic
always coming to all of your blog posts.

And again - your blog posts are
the key assets to your business.

You need to promote them wisely
and often.

Keep the free, unpaid traffic flowing in.

Perpetually.
