They focus purely on
their creative stuff.
They figure, if they

writing, for instance,
people will want to

them as a writer.
They figure that people
will see how great they
are at what they do,
fall in love with their
work, and buy their stuff.
While you definitely CAN
earn sweet profits working
online...
it's not automatic.
it's not push-button.
It is SIMPLE in concept,
but takes plenty of work
to make it happen.
And the more you
"go it alone," the more
work it will be for you.
And the longer it will
take you to get into
that profit zone.
So how do you do it?

Make a plan.
Plan to create a signature
work...
a book
a coaching program
a website
something that you
want to promote as
"your signature"...
something that will
define who you are,
what you do, what
you offer to people.

Get a platform.
Find a place to promote
your signature work.
It could be Facebook,
Pinterest, or whatever.
It could be your blog.
But you need a soapbox
to start attracting an
audience from.

Meet & greet.
Start connecting with
people via your platform,
and steer them to your
signature work.
That's really it.
I've worked with some
very creative people
who were wonderful
at what they do, but
they didn't know how
to market it.
Worse yet, they didn't
think they had to.
They just figured if they
keep doing their creative
work, people would start
finding them...
magical thinking for sure :)
