Subject: why isn't "my email list" producing 'great results'?

Perfectly valid question.

In fact, a really good one.

Why aren't you getting
Great Results from your
email list?

I had one student tell
me she had followed
some suggestions I
had made in one of
my trainings on list
building.

She was thrilled to
actually get several
hundred people on her
list in a short time.

The Problem...

She was getting very
poor results from her list.

No wonder.

She actually asked me
"what do I do with my
email list?"

That's a problem.

I know she's not
the only one with
this problem.

I once had the same
problem and I thought
I was weird b/c every
one just seemed to
know what to do.

But I didn't.

I actually get this
question all the
time so I thought
I'd give a real quick
answer on this
newsletter so everyone
can benefit from it.

So, you build a list.

To do that, you
offered some kind of
lead magnet... a give
away item.

That's the first (and
best) clue as to what
to write in your emails.

If someone signed up
for you list to get
your "how to overcome
fear" ebook...

You want to send your
first group of emails
(I usually suggest at
least 7) about how to
overcome fear.

Makes sense, right?

People wanted to know
how to overcome fear,
so they signed up for
your email list.

Your ebook told them
how, but you know...
most people will never
even look at your ebook.

So tell them basically
the same thing in your
first 7 emails, and,
make sure to remind
them that they can find
this info and more (on
the topic) by actually
opening and reading
your ebook.

Remind them how to
access it.

This is the very start
of building a deeper
relationship with your
new subscriber.

They'll be happy to
read your email b/c
they address the
concern that you
know they have...

remember, they opted
in to your list to
get EXACTLY this info.

So give it to them.

This is how you kick
off your email marketing
strategy.

The first reason I usually 
find that people are
getting poor results from
their email list is that...

they are not delivering the 
kind of info that people want.

They are not delivery on
the promise they made
to get people to subscribe
to begin with.

There's much more to
it, of course, but this
is how to kick off your
email campaign.

We'll dig into this whole
matter of making your
email subscribers become
"responsive" to your 
messages and to your
offers... 

... over the next few
days, maybe starting
Sunday or Monday.
