Subject: Your Weekly Market Snapshot: 28th September - 2nd October 2026

Assalamu’alaikum traders,

Alhamdulillah, Week 39 is officially in the books. 🤲🏻

Another week, another reminder that the market doesn’t always do what we expect. Some trades work, some don’t, and sometimes the best decision is simply to stay on the sidelines.

📊 Friday Market Wrap – Week 39

Minutes Chart:

📈 U.S. stocks finished the week higher.

U.S. stocks closed higher on Friday after a weaker-than-expected September jobs report eased concerns about further Fed rate hikes. The economy added just 29,000 jobs, while unemployment rose to 4.2%.

At the same time, inflation continued to show signs of cooling, with core PCE at 3.0% year over year in August. Resilient consumer spending, improving manufacturing activity and solid corporate earnings also continued to support the broader market.

Daily charts:

The S&P 500 gained 0.7%, while the Nasdaq rose 1.2% and reached a record intraday high, led by technology stocks.

💭 Now, forget the numbers for a moment.

How was your week?

Did you make money? Take a loss? Or decide not to trade at all?

Whatever happened, there’s always something to take away from it.

🌱 Stay patient. Stay disciplined. Trust your process.

And remember: our rizq comes from Allah, not the market.

⚠️ Not financial advice. Always do your own research.

Have a blessed weekend. Rest, recharge, reflect—and enjoy time with the people who matter.

May Allah put barakah in our rizq and wisdom in every decision we make.

See you next Saturday, Inn Shaa Allah. 🤲🏻

Cheers & Regards,

Syazwan Bakar
