Hi Friend,

Today is National Pet Obesity Awareness Day

Clearly obesity in our dogs and cats is a pressing problem.

There are a few key ingredients in my supplement which may help with weight loss, in particular probiotics and colostrum

My supplements are here:

54% of Nation’s Pets Overweight According to Latest Veterinary Survey; Pet Owners in Denial

The “fat pet gap” continues to widen according to the latest nationwide survey conducted by the Association for Pet Obesity Prevention (APOP). The fifth annual veterinary survey found 53 percent of adult dogs and 55 percent of cats to be classified as overweight or obese by their veterinarian. That equals 88.4 million pets that are too heavy according to veterinarians.

What's worse is that more pets are becoming dangerously obese, making them prone to a number of health disorders.

These include:

Cancer, especially intrabdominal cancers

Diabetes

Liver Disease

FLUTD ( Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease)

Immune system depression

Joint Disease

Skin disorders

Heart Disease

High Blood Pressure

What can you do?

Diet, Exercise, Environmental Enrichment and Supplements.

Colostrum for Weight Loss
----------------------------------------

Colostrum is increasingly being used by endurance athletes as it helps with excercise performance.

Research is also showing that it may also help with losing weight.

This is Information from Livestrong:

Research done by Antonio, Sanders and Gammeren in 2001, as reported in the journal "Nutrition," examined the effect of colostrum supplementation on body composition. In the study there were two groups: a placebo/whey protein group and a bovine colostrum group. Participants in each group participated in aerobic and heavy-resistance training at least three times per week for eight weeks. After the eight weeks of exercise training, the bovine colostrum group experienced a greater increase in lean body mass in active men and women than the whey protein group.

Weight Loss

Colostrum supplementation has been shown to help increase lean body mass. Lean mass gains lead to increases in basal metabolic rate (BMR), or the energy your body needs for all its functions, such as breathing, circulating blood, hormone level adjustment and growing and repairing cells.

Increased energy expenditure increases weight loss.

P.S. Clearly colostrum has a role to play in weight loss.

Colostrum comes in many forms, but it is important to be biologically active, and in appropriate levels to help your dog or cat.

My supplement contains colostrum with those specifications.

And if you have yet to try it, you can get a 50% OFF trial bottle.
