"Drain the Swamp" Candidate Training School

The Tennessee Firearms Association is looking forward to the 2018 election cycle because it offers a unique opportunity to continue the revolution that started with the election of Donald Trump which sent shockwaves through the Establishment Republicans across the nation - including Tennessee.

In 2018, it is possible that perhaps 25-30 of the 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives may be "open" seats with no incumbent running.  There are many more seats that are occupied by people who have failed on their promises to support constitutional carry and eliminate gun free zones.  (As an aside, there are quite a few who will be challenged for other reasons such as voting to increase gas taxes on Tennessee families or who support giving free or in-state tuition to illegal aliens).  Likewise, there are a number of Tennessee state Senate seats that may be opportunities to replace Establishment Republicans.

Many people across the state are interested in the problems that face the state.  Many people feel that the Establishment Republicans at the state level have had 8 years to do what they promised (just like in Congress) but that they have failed us or in many instances turned their backs as promises of power, money and other vices have been offered.  Many of the people who are upset and frustrated with the "swamp in Nashville" are constitutional conservatives who want to get involved and make a difference.

TFA is even working to put together a candidate training school in January or February 2018 which is designed specifically to help those who want to know more about how to clear the swamp in Nashville by running for public office in the Tennessee Legislature.  It would likely be a one day intensive course taking place on a Saturday in Nashville.

If you are one of those people who is interested in running for the State Senate or House, we would like to talk with you.  If you are interested in being a candidate for the Tennessee Legislature in 2018 or 2020 and would like to get more information about what TFA stands for, what kind of candidates TFALAC is looking for, and information about the "drain the swamp" school please email us today (email draintheswamp@tennesseefirearms.com )!

Yours

John Harris
Executive Director
Tennessee Firearms Association

P.S.
If you want to wage in on the battle to elect someone to the office of governor (there is only one who supports Constitutional Carry), the State Senate and the State House in 2018 - candidates who put the constitution first and who are true public stewards of your rights, please take a moment and go to the TFA's PAC website and make a donation so that we can raise the funds to restore our rights.
