Bill Status and Calendar Reports
Bill status and calendar reports for bills that have had activity in the Legislature this week as well as bills that are scheduled to be heard over the upcoming weeks. Please review these materials and feel free to share them with your friends, family and others who may be interested.
What the attached reports reflect is that the Republican super majority has once again come to the end of the trail in the 8th year of its total domination and has largely refused to repeal or remove the infringements on your rights. It has protected a permitting system when there is no proof that it makes Tennessee safer. It has rejected constitutional carry and permitless open carry. It has protected gun free zones - particularly on taxpayer funded properties. It has doled out a few concessions on fees or training to special classes of citizens while discriminating against others on something as basic as a constitutionally protected right. It has proven, conclusively, that the Republican party's promise of being better on the 2nd Amendment was an empty promise made to trick you into supporting the Establishment leadership.
TFA is alerting you to what is happening and encouraging you to think through it and contact your legislators. More importantly, TFA is encouraging you to get involved and let's get out the vote to defeat the RINO incumbents who are responsible for the failures of the last 8 years. That starts, perhaps, with making sure that Beth Harwell, Queen RINO herself, fails in her race for governor.
