"Drain the Swamp" Candidate Training School - Venue Update

The Tennessee Firearms Association is focused on the 2018 election cycle because it offers a unique opportunity to continue the revolution that started with the election of Donald Trump.

It now looks likely that perhaps 25-30 of the 99 seats in the Tennessee House of Representatives may be "open" seats with no incumbent running in 2018.  There are many more seats that are occupied by people who have failed on their promises to support constitutional carry and to eliminate gun free zones.

Likewise, there are a number of Tennessee state Senate seats that may be opportunities to replace Establishment Republicans.  Right now, estimates are that from 5 to 10 of the 33 Senate seats may be in play in 2018. Mark Pody has already won the Senate seat formerly held by Mae Beavers - Tennessee's Iron Lady - who is now running for governor! Joe Carr is fighting hard in the special election for the Senate seat vacated by Jim Tracy.

Many people across the state are interested in the problems that face the state.  Many people feel that the Establishment Republicans at the state level have had 8 years to do what they promised (just like in Congress) but that they have failed us or in many instances turned their backs as promises of power, money and other vices have been offered.  Many of the people who are upset and frustrated with the "swamp in Nashville" are constitutional conservatives who want to get involved and make a difference.

TFA has put together a candidate training school which is designed specifically to help those who want to know more about how to clear the swamp in Nashville by running for public office in the Tennessee Legislature.

It is a one day training program in the Nashville area.  TFALAC is insisting that any candidate looking for any support from TFALAC in 2018 must attend this important training program.  TFA believes it is critical for candidates who seek its support to understand TFA's issues and how TFA manages matters during a legislative session.

The training program has been scheduled for Saturday, January 20, 2018.

It will be from 8:00a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. CST.  The training will be at the Millersville Community Center which is located just north of Nashville on Interstate I65.  The address is 1181 Louisville Hwy, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.

Attendance is limited to 75 attendees.  Attendance reservations requires pre-payment.

Candidates and potential candidates must register in advance.  Candidate / potential candidate cost is $100 per person.

Candidates and potential candidates are encouraged to bring their campaign/prospective staff and key supporters/advisors to the trianing.   Candidates may bring up to 5 of their staff / supporters at a cost of $65 per person but the candidate must be in attendance for the discount to apply.
