| Welcome Nicholas Meyer, Voice and Piano Teacher
Our team is expanding! Resound NW is proud to welcome our newest staff instructor, Nicholas Meyer. Nicholas grew up in Portland and has recently returned home after training and performing in New York City, earning his Master of Music at the Manhattan School of Music. A baritone, Nicholas is an avid recitalist whose repertoire encompasses over 200 art songs. He has performed in the Franz-Schubert-Institut in Baden bei Wien, Austria and participated in nearly two dozen master classes. He also enjoys contemporary music and has collaborated with composers Justin Ralls and Paolo Marchetti.

Nicholas began teaching voice and piano for us this month, and we are delighted to have him on our team!

Farewell, Maria!
As of February, our guitar and ukulele instructor, Maria Olaya, will no longer be holding lessons at Resound NW. We are so grateful to Maria for sharing her talents with our students and for her consistent dedication to the studio over the past two and a half years. We wish her all the best in this new chapter.
At this time Resound NW will not be offering guitar or ukulele lessons. If you would like to continue working with her or remain in touch with Maria, she will continue to offer lessons at her own studio in Portland. She also offers in-home lessons. More info on her website: www.mariaolaya.com. |

Come join the Resound NW community for an afternoon of music, inspiration, and feasting! Held in a beautiful concert hall with wonderful acoustics, the concert will be a festive recital of performances featuring the talents of our voice and piano students, our SoulSinging classes and our Resound NW instructors. The event is FREE to the public.

Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany him or her.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
