The Resound NW Music Picnic: THIS SATURDAY, August 26, 20174:30-7:30pm

Join us for the second annual Resound NW Music Picnic in this lovely Southeast park, featuring a picnic shelter with fantastic acoustics. We'll have a potluck picnic - family, friends and kids welcome - and once again group singing and performances from students, teachers and classes.

| Welcome Voice and Piano Teacher Claire Hudkins! We are excited to announce a new member of our staff! Claire Hudkins is an inspiring and experienced voice and piano teacher joining our staff next month. Claire has been teaching music for many years with students of many levels, ages, and musical aspirations. She has extensive education, including Doctorate of Music from the renowned Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in Ohio. Claire was born and raised in Oregon and is returning back to her home state to further her opportunities in music and to share her wealth of knowledge with our student community. We are so thrilled to have her join us!
Dr. Claire Hudkins, soprano, is an enthusiastic teacher of voice and piano and performs regularly as a soprano soloist. For the past seven years she has been pursuing her passion for training singers of all ages and abilities in all genres of music. She encourages creativity, consistency, musical growth and individuality in all her students. Through the beauty of music, Claire enjoys working with each of her students to find their true potential as a singer or pianist. Read more --> |

Updated Pricing for Staff Instructors
We are updating our pricing structure for lessons with staff instructors at Resound NW. This new pricing structure will be in effect beginning September 1, 2017.
Lesson Prices for Staff Instructors:
30 minutes: $42
45 minutes: $60
1 hour: $75
Premiere Program:
The Premiere Plan is a monthly discount program for lessons and classes at Resound NW. Each plan includes private lessons and participation in a monthly group class. Read more here.
Sapphire Plan: $430 per month
Four 90 minute lessons and one group class
(13% discount)
Ruby Plan: $310 per month
Four 1 hour lessons and one group class
(10% discount)
Emerald Plan: $185 per month
Two 1 hour lessons and one group class
(4% discount)
Pricing for lessons with Daniel Buchanan will not be changing at this time. These changes apply only to lessons with staff instructors.
Every year we evaluate our pricing structure and determine whether a change is necessary. We are committed to offering lessons at a reasonable and accessible price. We are happy to report that we haven't made a change in pricing for staff instructors in over 5 years. This new pricing structure allows us to continue to provide you with the best possible music education.

Upcoming Song Studio Classes
"Song Studio" is a performance class where Resound NW students perform a song they have prepared and receive valuable coaching on their performance. The class includes a mini-lesson for each student plus a professional pianist to accompany him or her.
This class is fun, low-key, and an exciting way to learn about the craft of singing!
