GATHERING OPPORTUNITIES
THE SCORE BIG WITH PILGRIM PARTY AND FUNDRAISER is just around the corner! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you. It’s Saturday, April 8, from 7:00-11:00 p.m. at Whirlyball Chicago. Please turn in those RSVP cards so we can make our final preparations. They can be turned in to the office or you can put them in the Dickerson mailbox at the back of the church. Also, the Score Big Drive for 25k has kicked off and gaining momentum each day! Already we have raised over $11,000. Thank you to all who have contributed. We appreciate your generosity so much! Easter Breakfast & Set Up
- We invite you to join us for Easter Breakfast this year on April 16th at 8:30 a.m. Please sign up on the big board by the organ to bring a dish or something to contribute. Volunteers are needed to set up, service hours available! Join us on Saturday, April 15th at 1:00 p.m. as we decorate the sanctuary for worship and Maring Hall for Easter Breakfast!

Lent at Pilgrim 2017 “Life-Giving Water”
- Each Wednesday we gather from 6:15 to 7:00 p.m. for a community dinner for all ages, followed by a service inspired by the Taize tradition, a meditative and peace-filled service. If you or someone you know would like to explore baptism, please talk to Pastor Kristian (773) 990-0813, pastorkristian@pilgrimchicago.org

Story of Love at Chicago Tabernacle - You are invited to the “Story of Love” Play from son of the congregation Pastor Jake Sparlin: “This production completely transformed my life from the inside. PLEASE - do whatever you can to make it out.” The production is free, designed for those aged 10 and above, it is good to come at least 45 minutes before start time to make sure you get a seat. Friday, April 7th at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Saturday, April 8th at 3 p.m., Friday, April 14th at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 15th at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., Chicago Tabernacle, 3231 N. Cicero.

Needed: a Pre-Kinder Teacher - When a window closes, a door opens…Pilgrim School is looking for a licensed pre-Kindergarten teacher to take the retiring Mike Knuth’s position. This summer's Vacation Bible School
, with theme “A Mighty Fortress”, is scheduled for the week of July 17. VBS is for kids ages 4 through Grade 5. Older kids, youth and adults are encouraged to volunteer as helpers. FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES
Bethany Pilgrim Refugee project - We are so excited that RefugeeOne has assigned us a Rohingya Burmese family, consisting of a single Mom and 3 daughters living in Rogers Park. Guided by RefugeeOne, we will provide mentoring, tutoring, social & job development support and financial assistance. Chili Cook-Off to Benefit Refugee Family! Come one, come all to the Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Bake-Off to benefit the Bethany Pilgrim Refugee Project on Sunday, April 30th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Maring Hall. There is no admission fee, but we ask people to bring cash bills to place in front of the best pot of chili and the best dessert. Your monetary donations will determine the Chili and Dessert King or Queen of Chicago's North Side!!! Music will be provided by the Irving Park Trio. Thanks for your support and hope to see you there!

Gift cards will be sold only on Sundays, March 26 and April 2 because of Spring Break. Please see the sellers or contact Anne Barsano at cbarsano@aol.com to purchase.

Jam for Bread Silent Auction benefiting the Friendship Center will be on May 13th at the Dank Haus.
