Subject: Pilgrim Wide Party! You're Invited!

Hello Church Friends!

We are in full fiesta planning mode for the annual spring party and fundraiser - Cinco de Pilgrim! We're returning to Whirlyball on Saturday evening, May 5th. It is a FREE evening of food, drinks, and community building. Our goal is to bring the school and church together to celebrate this amazing community called Pilgrim. Instead of a ticketed event, we have opted for a party that is free to attend. We’ll have tables reserved especially for church folks - everyone is welcome!

Collectively, the church and school have an annual fundraising goal of $55,000. - it’s a lot of money. Because of your hard work this fall, we’ve already knocked $25,000 off of that total - thank you for selling those raffle tickets! We know that fundraising can be a tedious endeavor… our goal is to make the process of raising the remaining $30,000 as painless as possible. There are several ways that you can be involved in the fundraising efforts:
• We have sponsorship opportunities available. Please see the attached form if you (or a business owner you know) would be interested in taking advantage of the opportunity to advertise to the Pilgrim community. Sponsorship levels start at just $100.  To sponsor, click here:

• Instead of asking everyone to solicit goods and services for auction donations, we have assembled a small team of volunteers to take on the task on your behalf. They’ve been working hard for several months. That being said, if you have access to big ticket items like sports tickets, vacation homes, airline miles, gift cards, (you get the idea!) PLEASE let us know! We are still in need of BIG TICKET items for the live auction. To donate, click here:

• We are looking for party hosts of all shapes and sizes! You could host a dinner party, a poker night, a wine and cheese tasting, a craft beer night, a big backyard bash - the list goes on and on! Family-friendly, adults only, large or small… whatever brings you joy! If you’re curious but unsure of how the process works, please reach out. To host a party, click here:

• An easy way for church members to participate is by purchasing a gift card or two from Anne Barsano, We’ll either add them to themed baskets that classrooms are assembling, or use the gift cards to purchase items that we’re missing. Purchasing in-house is a double win for Pilgrim!

Thank you for all of the different ways that you participate in making Pilgrim the wonderful place that it is. We realize that this event doesn’t look the same from year to year - partly because we’re learning to be more efficient and effective in our efforts, and partly because different people volunteer to be involved each year.

Be on the lookout for your party invitation - it contains detailed instructions about how to RSVP for the evening! You can do so at pilgrim.schoolauction.net/cincodepilgrim and click on “free tickets”.

If you have questions, please ask! If you have ideas, please share them! This evening, and our collective fundraising efforts, are a labor of love for Pilgrim.
