Pilgrim Update
Dear Friends,
Love has come! Christmas is here... and it's not over... there are 12 days of Christmas... come celebrate the 5th day of Christmas with some lessons and carols! This Sunday, 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

GATHERING OPPORTUNITIES
Lessons and Carols
Sunday December 29th
On December 29th, we will continue our beloved tradition of holding a service of “Lessons and Carols.” We will sing our favorite Christmas Carols and hear readings that take us from the prophecy all the way to the fulfillment that is present in the birth of Christ. Services at 8 am. And 10:30 a.m.
Epiphany/3 Kings Celebration
Please join us on Sunday, January 5th as we celebrate Epiphany. Our 10:30 a.m. worship service will feature a dramatic procession of the 3 Kings, uplifting music and message, and a piñata for the kids during coffee hour!

Epiphany Preaching Series:
“Another Way”
During Sundays in January and February, Pastor Kristian will be preaching on the theme, “Another Way”, based on Matthew 2:12, when the Maji were warned in a dream to return to their own country “by another way.”
January 5th “Another Way to Read the Bible”
January 12th “Another Way to Pray”
January 19th “Another Way to Serve”
January 26th “Another Way to Practice Leadership”

We hope you’ll join us for a wonderful Epiphany season!

New Sunday School Term
There will be no Sunday School on December 29. The winter term will begin on Sunday, January 5, at 9:15. We have concluded that the Bible Song format does not work well for us and will be going back to our traditional age-based classroom settings with a new curriculum. We'll begin in the Sanctuary with music and prayer, and then split into classes.

Our Prayer for Sunday
Almighty God, you wonderfully created the dignity of human nature and yet more wonderfully restored it. In your mercy, let us share the divine life of the one who came to share our humanity, Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.
