Subject: All Saints Sunday + 1 hr

View this email online if it doesn't display correctly
Dear Friends,

It's roll back the clock... enjoy the extra hour of sleep and then come to church!

All Saints Sunday can feel heavy, as we mourn those who have died. But there is also a lightness to All Saints Sunday, because God inspires us through the saints, and give us the reminder... the grace... and the strength... to live out their legacy in our time.

Brothers and Sisters, this is our time to come together, receive the peace of God, and to be comforted in the Holy Spirit. Join us this Sunday at 8 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

----------
Dear Pilgrim, it is with sadness and resurrection hope that we share that our dear sister in Christ, Jeanne Valencia, passed away on Thursday, November 2nd. Please pray for her sons Jason, Raymond, and Jonathan and all of her friends and family at this difficult time. We will share details of her funeral as soon as they become available. Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord: and let light perpetual shine upon her.
GATHERING OPPORTUNITIES
1st Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon - “Celebrating God’s Gifts” - As we begin to reflect on 2017, we realize there are so many gifts to celebrate! Let’s take the opportunity to give thanks for God’s generosity at work at Pilgrim by coming together for our 1st Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, Sunday, November 19th at 11:30 a.m., directly following the 10:30 a.m. service. The luncheon is free. Childcare will be provided. This dinner will be coordinated by the Growing Forward Capital Campaign Committee, the Confirmation Families, and the Stewardship Team. You will learn about the impact of your giving and be invited to renew your commitment to give to Pilgrim in the coming year.
