Subject: Tonight is the night!

When we start searching ...
Asalamu Alaykum,

Let me start by making dua that Allah give you all the health and strength to make the best of these last 10 nights of Ramadan.

Finishing well is what counts, so I have included a checklist that can help you achieve some basic goals during these last auspicious days. Download it here.

Keep in mind the Prophet (salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said that, this is the best Dua to make on Laylatul Qadr:

"Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul 'afwa fa'fu 'annee"
(Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and Tirmidhi)

"O Allah, You are The One Who pardons greatly, and You love to pardon, so pardon me."

So make sure you read this dua all the time and as much as you can. Make it one of your daily athkaar.

With regards to the night prayers. If you are disciplined enough to stay up and do it at home, that is great. However if you need some nudging, then I suggest you sign up to one of the mosques to stay the night as you will have 'help' to keep you awake and motivated. On that note, remember that standing up in prayer at night, you are not doing Allah a favour; no, Allah has chosen you, so He can listen to you say "Allahu Akbar". So, if you are home sleeping, you are certainly missing out on rewards greater than a thousand months.

Lastly, ever wondered why many people pay small amounts of sadaqah each night in the last 10 nights? They are hoping to 'catch' the reward of it being multiplied by more than 83 years. So we have also developed a simple method for you to benefit from this by simply signing up to 10 automatic donations of $10 daily Sadaqah. Find out how here.

With that, I leave you with one last request while we are all searching for Laylat-ul-Qadr in these special nights - please take a moment to make a dua for us at the NZF team, for Allah to keep us sincere.
