Join us Saturday, September 3 through 18 for our first annual Pianos for Peace festival in Atlanta. With 29 colorful pianos, each a unique work of art, this social event unites people through our shared values of the arts and the universal language of music in one of the largest public art display projects in our beautiful Atlanta community.

Through the annual Pianos for Peace festival, the entire Atlanta community comes together to spread peace using beautifully painted pianos for everyone to enjoy and anyone to play. After the two-week outdoor festival, Pianos for Peace will donate all pianos to metro Atlanta schools, nursing homes, community centers, healthcare facilities and other organizations in need. Local artists, musicians and students will volunteer their talent and time to year-round meaningful workshops and programs.  Check us out on YouTube Channel, Facebook and Twitter
Children who learn a musical instrument are more likely to excel in their studies, work better in teams, pursue higher education and thrive for success. However, funding for arts education has fallen 47% in the past decade! Pianos for Peace will donate all 29 painted pianos to their new permanent homes in Atlanta schools, community centers and other organizations in need.
To make our dream a reality, Pianos for Peace must raise $25,000 in order to cover all of the storage, transportation, insurance, permitting, tuning, maintenance, art supplies, paint, material and operating expenses associated with bringing Pianos for Peace to their new permanent homes throughout the Atlanta community.

We base our projects on the needs of students, artists, children and our community at large. With your support, we will be able to spread peace through music and education. Be an Ambassador for Peace by giving the gift of music to our children.
Please Help Us Bring Pianos for Peace to the Children of Atlanta

We have raised $7,315 towards our $25,000 goal this year. The Pianos for Peace festival is made possible by the support of The William and Anne Goldstein Family Charitable Fund, Cohen Cooper Estep & Allen, LLC and the generosity of donors like you!

Pianos for Peace has partnered with a diverse group of organizations throughout the metro Atlanta community including Center for Civil and Human Rights, Fox Theatre, MARTA stations, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Piedmont Park, Spelman College, Atlantic Station - Central Park, Central Fulton Public Library, Sam Flax, Atlanta Beltline, Rialto Center for the Arts at GSU, The MLK Center, The Collection, GeorgiaTech, Avalon, Underground Atlanta, The Forum, Fulton County Jail, Senior Connections, Erin's Hope For Friends and other strategic partners. Atlanta based international and local artists Catalina Gomez-BeuthMia Stone, Jeff Hinson, Maria ZaaShawn Bentley, Maria Cerban and our own "comeback artist" and community serviceman Allen London among many other amazing volunteer artists who contributed their time and talent to design and paint all 29 Pianos for Peace for the festival this year.
