Refugee claims up by 76 percent but drop in GAR arrivals state 2017 ISSofBC reports

Over 1,200 refugee claimants were recorded in BC last year compared to 725 in 2016 while the number of Government-Assisted Refugees (GAR) was 642 – a third of the 1,911 that arrived in 2016.

Virtual Career Expo 
- In-TAC is hosting the 4th Virtual Career Expo April 19 for job seekers in Canada and abroad. Attendees will have the opportunity to browse for jobs listed by partner companies, apply directly for job openings, chat with the employer representatives and employment counsellors, and learn more about working in different parts of Canada.

ISSofBC Refugee Readiness Hub - This online hub offers current news, events, resources, success stories, videos and more relating to the refugee resettlement efforts across British Columbia.
