Our Children's Department is OPEN!
Thank you for your patience over the past month. The damage from the burst water pipe was significant and we are still in the process of ordering replacement copies for the books we lost.  However, the children's department has been repaired and is back in business.  All children's programming has resumed. Come visit us soon!  See below for details on our welcome back celebration.
Ann Nyberg: Saturday, April 30 @ 1 pm
Meet news anchor Ann Nyberg and hear her discuss her new book, Slices of Life: A Storyteller's DiaryBooks will be sold/ signed at the event. Registration required.  Refreshments will be served.

Welcome Back Celebration (all ages)
Monday, April 11 from 12-3 pm
Face painting & balloon animals with Berlin Upbeat from 12-2 pm. Storyteller Mary Jo Maichack will wander the library sharing tunes, puppets and lots of interaction from 2-3 pm.  

Flower Power Treasure Hunt: Tuesday, April 12 from 11-3 (grades K+)
Follow the clues to collect 10 flowers hidden throughout the children's department.  Then use your flowers to create a colorful spring picture!

Minecrafters: Wednesday, April 13 @ 2 pm (grades 3-12)
We have a new Minecraft Server!  View details here.  Snacks provided.  Registration is required.
Chapter Chat: Thursday, April 14 @ 6:30 pm
A book club for elementary school readers. This month we will discuss Ivy and Bean by Annie Barrows. Register here.

Lego Construction Zone: Saturday, April 9 @ 1 pm
What will you build? Bricks provided.
For grades K and up (younger children are welcome with an adult caregiver).

Movie Matinee: Open Season: Scared Silly Wednesday, April 27 @ 2 pm (all ages). This movie is rated PG and the runtime is 85 minutes.  No registration required.

Teen Advisory Board: Wednesday, April 6 @ 6:30 pm. 
Coloring! Unleash your creativity, channel your inner child, & relieve stress by joining us in a world of color! We'll provide colored pencils and coloring pages galore, plus iPads with Color Therapy installed (a really fun digital coloring app).  For students in grades 6 and up.
