  • Collectors: Dutch Art Gallery  "Local Color" featuring Women of Lake Highlands opens April 25th. This will be a colorful show. As a graduate of Lake Highlands (as is my husband), I am honored to be apart of this exhibition along with Debbie Grayson Lincoln, Kay Wyne, and Sharon Hodges. Click here for additional Information.
  • Donations and Fundraising:   I was blessed with the opportunity to support the Allen Texas Community Outreach in their annual fundraiser. The painting 'Racing the Shoreline" was created just for the auction. This small 18 x 24 inch oil brought $2500 to their outreach. Thank you Betty from Fairfield, Texas, for your support to the Outreach.
  • Artists: Workshops. Please let me know if you are interested in a workshop in your area.  Email me and we can get something set up.  You can help gather the group and I will come and we will have fun.

  • You continue to inspire me.  I continue to get beautiful comments on my Journal each day and the emails you send are so welcomed. I want to know what is happening with you as we make this journey together.  This month I want to mention I had a great note from a fellow artist just making her journey clearing the way to paint and be joyful doing it. Another collector had moved to a new home in a new city and state and we are in talks about what can be painted and hung in her beautiful new dining room.   So yes, stay in touch.

YEAH FOR WARMER WEATHER.   Finally we have warm weather and I have tomato plants with tiny tomatoes on them. The strawberry plants have blooms and small strawberries on them. My roses are blooming with the spring rains and the bushes are full of tiny buds. The quote I chose was to remind us all that constantly we are faced with storms and trials in life. When the sun does break through our world is filled with light. If the sun can shine through those clouds and make rainbows, let God's love shine through you.

Remember please keep those emails coming... Keep your ideas and thoughts flowing to me. From horses, to flowers, to portraits, to the garden series... what should I paint?  My heart is open to grow, I hope yours is too.

Thank you again for your belief in my art. You continue to inspire me constantly and I look forward to checking my email each day.
