New Kid in the Barn
Fall Painting Cranking up!

It   was time for an update on my website! The first opening page is a beautiful rolling page where as you scroll down you see access to everything including the Look Book.  You can still click around to different pages, but the beauty of it is how it presents on the cell phone or on tablets.   I spent the last week in August redesigning the site and adding some new areas, one of which is my favorite... my  Collector Comments.   Many pages are the same but I would love to have some feedback. Please share your comments with me HERE.

Close up of The New Kid

This is a close up of The New Kid in the Barn. The warm fall colors with the hint of the deeper blue skies we have here in Texas in September as cool fronts begin to roll through... are all captured in this painting.

From the Studio

He's Back  School started.  Our DIL had to return to work in early August. She is a school psychologist for all the schools in Wise County Texas.  Her return after summer break meant that HE'S BACK.  Baby Noah is knocking on the door of ten months old.  He is a healthy eater and already on the verge of walking and not crawling.  He is up to ten steps now from one place to another, but does not realize he can walk all the time.  The gig is up.  The playpen is out and Terry and I both realize we have to be extra vigilant because he is way faster than we are.

Debating  Life is quite a bit slower with Noah here, but studio wise I am contemplating doing something like I did several years ago.  It was in 2012 I did 100 horses in 100 days for $100 each.  They ranged in size from 6 x 6 up to 9 x 12 and even one or two 16 x 20's.  Usually in the winter I do the 12 Days of Christmas, but I have found after all these years so many other artists doing exactly the same thing that I want to be different again.  There are only 107 days left till December 25th so if I do commit to this...I have to get busy.  The 12 Days of Christmas fall from Christmas day forward, so that does give me some flexibility.  What do you think?  Would you like something that crazy again? Maybe I should just do 10 paintings, 10 weeks and $100 and make them medium sized.  Let me know what you think here.

Grazing  is now available... fifteen limited edition Giclee Prints on Stretched Canvas through late Sunday afternoon.  Same as last month,  I limit what I have on Fine Art America, and I have been asked to run this special for you in my newsletter and not just through social media. You can click on the link above or below where you see the painting. OR heck, right here works too.
