Lift & Slide Corner Units are fantastic; they allow a whole corner of a home to just disappear into a pocket, opening up a whole area to the outside.
The problem? Previous options for mounting the lift & slide hardware for a corner application involved either using an astragal or having to cut unsightly notches on the jamb of the pocket moulding. This does allow for the strikes mounted on the opposite lift & slide door to go into the pocket wall, but everyone that sees these notches may call into question the quality of the craftsmanship.
