Float & fish with FOMR on Sunday, August 27th

Join FOMR as we float & fish Middle River in the last couple of miles before Middle River flows into North River.

Kayaks & canoes all welcome! You will need a U.S. Coast Guard approved life vest and a valid VA fishing license.

Cost - $10

"Splash 'n Dash" Canoe/Kayak Race

Sunday, September 10th

Starts at 12:00 Noon

21 Stiegel Lane off Dam Town Road

Between Ft. Defiance and New Hope

Bring your canoe or kayak. Don't forget paddles, life vests, lawn chairs, towel, sunscreen, food & drink).

Racers will slalom downriver, turn around and sprint back upriver to the starting point.

Entry Fee - $10
