April 27th Bird Walk/Canoe Float
It's not too late to register for FOMR's Bird Walk/Canoe Float along Middle River in Ft Defiance. Join us at 535 Bailey Road in Ft. Defiance at 11:00 AM. You can walk along the River or ride/paddle a canoe or kayak. Please register here to reserve a canoe space if you want to bird watch from a canoe.

A Call for Volunteers - Riverfest
Riverfest in Waynesboro needs 4 - 5 canoeists to help take visitors on canoe rides along South River during the Riverfest event on May 3rd. Volunteers are needed throughout the day from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. Riverfest supplies all the canoes, paddles, etc. If you can volunteer a couple of hours, please click here to send an email stating you would like to volunteer. You are welcome to bring your own paddle and life preserver, if you'd like. |
