Subject: FaithWriters June Newsletter - With a New Contest to Create Writing Opportunities

JUNE 2012

Hello Friend

FAITHWRITERS NEWSLETTER

FaithWriters.com news and information for the write-brained
Christian!

“The righteous lead blameless lives; blessed are their children
after them.” – Proverbs 20:7

Okay, so we know our fathers aren’t totally blameless, and
they’re definitely not perfect, right? But some of us have
wonderful fathers. Dads who possess qualities we adore and who
have always been a positive presence in our lives. But perhaps
your image of your dad isn’t so positive. Maybe you have a
father who has hurt you or wasn’t there for you at all. Maybe
your relationship just isn’t as great as you’d like it to be.
While earthly fathers may hurt us, or disappoint us, or even
leave us, isn’t it awesome to know you have a Father in Heaven
who you can call “Daddy?” Who loves you more than you can
ever comprehend, and will never leave you or let you down?

If you have an amazing earthly dad, count your blessings! And if
you don’t, remember that you have a heavenly Father who longs
to be everything you need in a Daddy…and so much more! Praying
that you experience the love of the Father this month.

And if you are a father yourself, we celebrate you!

Be sure to read the Out of the Mouths of FaithWriters section at
the end of this newsletter to see what some of our members love
about their dads.

THE GREAT COMMISSION - THIRTY NINE AND GROWING

Did you know that as a member of FaithWriters you are helping to
lead people to Christ? As a group, our articles attract visitors
from all over the world. Someone from India or Australia or
France might Google the name “Jesus,” and end up reading one
of your articles. They were thinking about God before they
visited the site, and your article makes them think even more.
Then they notice the video gospel presentation, and the link
about Jesus on the right hand side of the article page. Since
February 26th, 1159 people have viewed the video, and thirty-nine
have informed us that they accepted Jesus as their Lord and
Savior. And many more have gone to the FaithWriters “Jesus
page,” where there are links to material in over 150 languages.
Those who write to us and let us know about their new commitment
to Christ are offered a helping hand to start their new walk. So
many seeds have been planted, and souls are being saved! Together
we are the Body of Christ.

If you are passionate about Jesus and in seeking and saving the
lost, and if you have some website experience, we would love your
help! We are looking for volunteers to help finish our Jesus
pages. It is a drag and drop website and very easy to work with.
You would be responsible for helping to expand the site with
Biblical material. Take a look at the site here:

UPGRADING PAYS OFF

New FaithWriters owners, Mike and Bea, are working hard to bring
you more paid writing opportunities. Is that cool, or what? These
opportunities are presented through the Private Messaging System
(PM), which is included with both the GOLD and PLATINUM
memberships. Many members have achieved publication, and even
landed contracts this way! Here are two messages we recently
received from satisfied members who obtained work through PM:

“The website is great, and has been a great asset to me as I
pursue writing for Christ. Beyond job opportunities, it also has
allowed me to share a lot of the stuff God has put on my heart
over the years, and to interact with other like-minded writers.
But yes, I did find the writing opportunity at PTL through
Faithwriters, and it has been a great experience so far. I really
can't thank everyone who makes Faithwriters possible enough for
helping me find this opportunity.” - Thomas H.

“Hi Mike- I wanted to let you know that I found out today that
the women's devotionals I submitted to Group Publishing, thanks
to a private message via Faithwriters, are being included in
their new book being published in October. They pay in books! I'm
over the top excited about this opportunity. So, another HUGE
thank you to Faithwriters (and God) for linking me up to this
writing opp!” – Beth C.

The Private Messaging System is only one of several benefits that
come with your upgraded account. To view a list of all the GOLD
and PLATINUM perks, click here:

OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF FAITHWRITERS

In honor of Father’s Day this month, members were asked the
following question:

NAME THREE QUALITIES YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR DAD.

Here are a few of the many responses submitted:

“I love my Dad's DEDICATION TO THE LORD. I also love his
POSITIVE ATTITUDE and the ENCOURAGEMENT he has always given
me.” - Diana Behrens

“He was FEARLESS, when Dad was around I felt safe. He was
FAIR-MINDED, without prejudice, and he LOVED ANIMALS.” – Iris
Boyce

“PROTECTOR, GOD-SERIOUS, STRONG.” – Marilyn K. Smith

“Having lived more than 60 years of my 62 without my dear Dad,
his most precious qualities to me are: His LOVE FOR CHRIST, made
known to me by others' memories, his amazing GIFT OF POETRY,
preserved in his handwriting, in a tattered book, his ridiculous
sense of humor - I'm sure in part inherited by my zany
children.” – Margaret Kearley

“I loved my father's ZEST FOR LIFE, his SPONTANEITY and his
WIT, which could all be summed up by one of my childhood
experiences. Papa brought home a 28-lb tuna. Because of it, we
were forced to eat tuna every day and, believe me, that was not a
treat!

“My Father was so PATIENT, and a QUIET MAN of few words. He
was always DEPENDABLE, sticking by me throughout my life.” -
Susan Allen

Next month’s question:

WHAT IS THE NICEST COMPLIMENT YOU’VE RECEIVED ABOUT YOUR
WRITING?

Send your brief (2-3 sentence) answer to:
Faithwriters.contact@yahoo.com. Then check the July newsletter to
see if your reply was selected to appear.

THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING FAITHWRITERS.COM! WISHING YOU A
JOYOUS AND JUBILANT JUNE!
