“I AM who I AM” by Jayne Howard

“God said to Moses, ‘I AM Who I AM.’ This is what you are to say to the Israelites: I AM has sent me to you” (Exodus 3:14 NIV).

When God called Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egyptian slavery, Moses asked, “….who shall I say sent me to them?”(v.13) The Egyptians were idolaters, who worshipped many gods with many names; Moses wanted to tell the Israelites the name of the One who sent him to them. God answered, “I AM Who I AM;” revealing His divine character and eternal being. That day God made known to Moses that He is the God of his forefathers; Abraham,

God still speaks to His children today, although it may be difficult to hear Him in this increasingly noisy, chaotic, rebellious, immoral, idolatrous and unstable world. God says, “I AM Creator of Heaven, Earth and everything within. I AM Omnipotent (All-powerful); Omnipresent (Everywhere) and Omniscient (All-knowing). I AM Everlasting (Enduring through all time); I AM Deliverer (Liberator, Freedom Fighter); Healer (Heart Mender) and Provider (Source). I AM Joy, Peace, and Strength. I AM Father and Mother (Divine Parent); I AM KING of Kings and LORD of Lords (Sovereign Majesty); I AM Holy (Deserving of Worship and I AM SAVIOR (Rescuer). I AM Everything that you need, (Love, Wisdom, Power, Ability, Sustenance, Justice, Goodness and Truth). I AM God (Spirit, Infinite, Eternal, and Unchanging).”

I AM JESUS CHRIST; the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). “I AM Who I AM!”
