Subject: LAST WEEKEND to see A CHRISTMAS CAROL

"A Christmas miracle!"
-- Christine L. Brooks, Columbus Herald Times

CHARLES DICKENS'

A CHRISTMAS CAROL
(From Left to Right:) Eli Wilson as Tiny Tim, Jim McCullough as Ebenezer Scrooge, and Todd Taylor as Bob Cratchit in the Columbus Civic Theater's production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol.

Christine L. Brooks's review of this year's A Christmas Carol is in, and we'd like you to read it. Click here to read it online.  We agree with a lot of it. Do you?

This year's adaptation of A Christmas Carol is drawn from previous versions seen on the Civic stage and the famous novella by Charles Dickens. Come watch as Ebenezer Scrooge is transformed from nasty curmudgeon to merry mensch by three timely spirits. Join us for this holiday favorite with the Civic's own blend of theater and tradition.

And, as a bonus, we offer a short comedic play called Christmas Under the Big Top. It's Christmas Eve and two circus clowns are wrapping up a great weekend with a roustabout named Buddy. What happens in the next half an hour reforms a cynical jerk named Charlie. It stars Kent Halloran as Charlie, and features Mark Allison (The Miracle Worker) and Ben Turner (A Midsummer's Night's Dream.)

The last weekend begins TOMORROW with a performance starting at 8pm. A Friday and Saturday evening performance follows at the same time. A Sunday matinee performs at 2pm. Its our last week of productions and it's filling up fast.
